Shanghai filmfest to screen ‘Headless’

Iranian movie ‘Headless’ is slated to be screened at the Shanghai International Film Festival.

Kaveh Sajjadi Hosseini’s latest directorial experience will vie at the 2021 edition of the Chinese event.

‘Why do you want to kill him? He understands as much as a two-year-old child,’ a short synopsis of the film reads.

The main actors of the film are Elham Korda and Mehdi Koushki.

Other actors include Roya Teymourian, Kazem Sayyahi, Nasser Sajjadi-Hosseini, Mohammad-Reza Farzad, Mahsa Baqeri, Alireza Riahi and Iraj Shahzadi.

The Shanghai International Film Festival is considered by many to be the second biggest film festival in Asia. The first edition of the festival was held from October 7 to 14, 1993.

This year’s edition of the event is scheduled for June 11-20, 2021.
